Today, we had Grammar lesson for
Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone. Within this lesson, we reviewed the basic Parts of Speech, how to use them, unusual forms, and how to identify them in writing. During the Flipped Classroom lecture, I had you rewrite a paragraph from the book inserting your own Parts of Speech in place of the ones used. In class, we then took those chosen Parts of Speech and wrote our own paragraphs of any genre and topic to show how the Parts of Speech can be used in different contexts.
