Welcome to my Class!

Profile:

My name is Cassandra Yost and I will be your English teacher this year!  This is my first year teaching in Redlands.  I graduated from Cal Poly Pomona in 2019 with a degree in English Education, and earned my Single-Subject Credential the next year.  

During my free time I enjoy getting outside as much as possible.  My hobbies include hiking, camping, yoga, reading, and writing.  In the summer I enjoy going on road trips or traveling to cities with plenty museums and historical sights.

Some of my favorite books are the Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll, Roughing It by Mark Twain, Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen, and Dracula by Bram Stoker.
