Literature Lesson: Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone

Today, we had a Literature lesson for Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone.  We were first introduced to the book with an overview of the plot, a look at the general setting, an introduction to some of the main characters, and a deep dive into the Houses of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.  After this introduction, we took part in a sorting hat ceremony that placed you all in your Hogwarts Houses as groups you will stay in for the rest of this book.
